Typically, people who have abstained from intercourse for some time can feel less vital and more sluggish. According to experts, this does not eradicate the thoughts you might be having about sex, but your libido will definitely suffer in the process.

Sex is not all about the physical experience, but the emotional, too. The mental aspect of it, especially when intercourse is not a regular occurrence in your life, can have a lot to do with you feeling blue.

The very skin-to-skin contact is what triggers the production of the happy hormones. So, naturally, when you have less sex, you tend to feel moodier, and not in a good way. When avoided to extremes or for a longer period, the lack of sex can cause symptoms of sadness and mood swings.

Refraining from sex or simply not having it enough can really boost your stress levels. As experts, people who don’t have so much stress oftentimes have a richer sex life. Opposite to that, individuals who tend to engage in it less can feel more irritated and overwhelmed.

4. Not Enough Sex Can Efffect Intelligence!

As odd as it might sound, insufficient sex can impact our cognitive process. That said, people who practice more show higher verbal and social skills. On the other hand, those who rarely engage in love making or don’t do it at all showed lower cognitive capabilities, studies acknowledge. One of the reasons why this happens is because, when we have it more, our brains are encouraged to produce more hormones which add quality to the way we speak and express ourselves.
